Sudan

Sudan is in Northeast Africa and the third largest country on the continent, with a population of about 50 million. It has been dogged by wars and conflicts since 1955, the latest and likely the worst being the ongoing war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which started in April 2023. Most Sudanese civilians had been living in sub-optimal conditions, which have now turned into crisis.

NASS
Our mission is to alleviate suffering in Sudan. Our founders are from Sudan, but we created NASS as a platform for all nations—all humans who believe in goodness and feel the need to give Sudanese civilians what should be their right: the chance to live and thrive.
“We may not have the power to stop wars, but together we can make kindness and humanity prevail.”

“We can rewrite history.”

What we do
Our aims are:
- to support refugees and the displaced;
- to help them relocate once it’s safe to do so;
- (step by step) to build a NASS village (homes, schools, healthcare, together with bakeries, and projects that provide a living).
We are also engaged in a number of specific projects, such as supporting primary school children in completing their primary education.
